The multi-star simulation system of a China-based aerospace institute

This product is used to simulate high-precision virtual starry sky so that various performance tests can be performed on high-precision imaging optical systems (such as star sensors). The range of virtual starry sky exceeds 9°; the distortion is less than 1/10,000 throughout the field of view, and the imaging quality reaches the diffraction limited level. The exit pupil of the simulator is located outside the device, and it's of 80 mm in size. The system is designed to test star sensors with an entrance pupil size below 80 mm. This product is also used to simulate the slow motion of the starry sky with a motion accuracy that is superior to 0.4 seconds of arc.
