The Company was rated as a Nanjing municipal-level engineering research center in 2019. Intane Optics spent several decades in the research of data transmission system for space laser communication, and participated in the development of a number of laser communication terminals with major national defense labs. These efforts turn into rich experience in R&D and production, and enhance the Company’s competitiveness. Intane was rated as "an engineering research center for high-speed laser data transmission system for satellite-ground link in Nanjing" in December.
The miniaturized space-based laser communication terminal independently developed by Intane Optics was successfully launched by launch vehicle CZ-4B at Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center. This is the first time Intane Optics participated in China's commercial space mission, and achieved a significant success along the process. To support the development of space-based terminals and ensure the rapid and reliable establishment of the two-way laser link, Intane Optics' third-generation ground terminal with a clear aperture of 500mm was installed and commissioned in November. Located in Chaoyang Mountain, Nanjing, this terminal is Intane Optics' first semi-permanent ground station for laser transmission. This project not only intends to successfully complete the laser communication experiment between the satellite and the ground, but also to demonstrate its feature of astronomical observation. Moreover, it can also be used as one of the first ground stations for commercial laser communication for spatial data transmission services and showcase of product.
Intane Optics was rated as a Standard Compliant Enterprise for Credit Management in Jiangsu Province. Based on its outstanding credit management mode, the Company applied for the identification of Standard Compliant Enterprise and Demonstration Enterprise for Credit Management in Nanjing, and was certified as a Standard Compliant Enterprise for Credit Management after passing the review of Nanjing Leading Group for Social Credit System Building.
Intane Optics passed the district-level review on the special fund for the commercialization of scientific and technological achievements. Through technological innovation and aiming at achievement commercialization, Intane Optics has been striving to optimize and upgrade its products. Years of R&D and testing have enabled its collimator series to be mass-produced.
Intane Optics' highly skilled technical talents won the honorary title of "a doctor's degree holder for innovation and entrepreneurship in Jiangsu Province in 2019". The Company successively introduced a number of highly skilled technical talents in an attempt to support the research of new-generation information technology; in addition to creating a broad research platform and providing appropriate support, Intane helped them apply for the selection of "doctor's degree holders for innovation and entrepreneurship in Jiangsu Province". Dr. Li Ming was awarded this honorary title in the public announcement in August 2019. In the same month, Intane Optics was approved to be a Nanjing-based Enterprise Expert Workshop.
The 1.5-meter collimator developed by Intane Optics was successfully delivered to the Chinese Academy of Sciences. It's the largest aperture in collimator delivered by the Company so far, contributing to the development of China's largest 4-meter telescope.
The cylindrical aspheric strong laser system developed by Intane Optics for China Academy of Engineering Physics was finalized. The system has been brought into mass production.

Intane Optics and the College of Astronautics at Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics held a school-enterprise cooperation ceremony. The two sides signed the agreement on school-enterprise cooperation and the agreement on training base, and the College hired three employees of our company as "business-based class advisors"; this signing package offers a new platform for both sides to further carry out in-depth, multi-form and multi-field cooperation, seek the organic combination and optimized allocation of school-enterprise resources, and work together to develop talents.
Intane undertook the project of complete development of the space camera for the Sudan Scientific Experiment Satellite developed by China Academy of Space Technology, and has successfully delivered the camera; that load was successfully launched in November with the cz-4b rocket. The space camera for the Sudan Scientific Experiment Satellite is characterized by the high resolution, the large amount of information, the sophisticated processing and interpretation technologies, and the 100% resistance to electromagnetic interference. This satellite is principally designed for space research, etc.
Intane developed a multi-star simulator for an aerospace institute. This product is used for high-precision virtual simulation of the starry sky so that various performance tests can be performed on high-precision imaging and optical systems (such as star sensors).
The second-generation ground terminal for laser communication passed the acceptance inspection of the State Administration of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense; the second-generation ground terminal for laser communication is an important part of China's next-generation space-earth communication command system. Moreover, Intane worked with an institution of national defense research to finish the development of a small portable ground terminal for laser communication with horizontal links and the terminal series’ optical performance test system; this project is internationally advanced in terms of transmission rate, capacity, tracking accuracy and stability.
